Moses Korede, fondly known as Baba Gbenro, a revered Christian actor, has sadly passed away. The heartbreaking announcement was made just an hour ago by his colleague, gospel actor and producer Oluwaseun Adejumobi, via Instagram.
Adejumobi shared a photo of the late actor, paying tribute by calling him a “general” and expressing that he had returned home. He wrote, “Heaven’s Gain Again! A General has gone to rest.”
Baba Gbenro was beloved for his role in the acclaimed Mount Zion series “Abattoir” and was a key figure in Christian drama. He founded the Calvary Movies Drama Ministry in Ogbomoso, Nigeria, where he also served as International President. Additionally, he was the CEO of Calvary Movies Television.
